Sustainable Cell Sources for Cultivated Meat

Cultivated meat (clean meat) is an emerging yet fast growing research field and industry with a great potential to overcome the limitations of traditional cattle production. leverages technologies cell biology tissue engineering, culturing multiple types cells assembling them into structure construct mimicking muscle tissues livestock animals. A sustainable source first utmost important component cultivated technology. In this mini review, sources for main in (muscle fat cells) are described. Stem self-renewal differentiation most prominent candidates. Progenitor stem from tissues, mesenchymal isolated many other induced Pluripotent Cells (iPSCs) created terminally differentiated have been used as meat. To become source, which can generate high quantity (extensive vitro expansion) quality (stemness) making meat, these still face challenges limitation intrinsically associated culturing. The efforts strategies circumvent such also discussed.
